So both myself and my mate  SakitaStar are huge fans of the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender (and for the record, while I didn't think that the live-action movie was the worst thing ever like some Avatar fans, I was still disappointed with it in general. Of course, it would have been hard to do the series justice).

Anyway, I think everybody has at least one inherent element that they identify with, and I've always very heavily identified with two elements: Fire and Earth (water and wind are for girls! ). While I think I've got a good chunk of both of them in me, I probably tend to be a bit more fire most of the time, so here we have Kiwa the Firebender! The fire nation culture always intrigued me (especially the -before corruption- part), and I'm a big fan of the Northern Shaolin martial arts they use (since I studied it for a few years). Not to mention that Ihro is the greatest character ever. Srsly. I really strive to be as badass as that man one day... though hopefully not as fat
