This is a gift for my old friend Alex. I've known her and her sister since we were little kids. Our families got a chance to spend time together recently and we had a blast hanging out.
Alex always loved penguins, and still collects them. Mom decided to commission me to do a penguin for her. I went an extra step.
She goes by "Squid", so I figured a Squid cuddling a penguin would make for a cute and ironic piece. ^__^
