This is the end of your journey~
My first original tune in a while that I've been happy with; I heard the hook for it while waking up from a dream. I couldn't help myself; the feeling was so strong that despite being in a creative slump, I had to write it. Enjoy...

I think I literally heard 14 seconds of this before I favorited this.
Man does this song just bleed an unmistakable sense of nostalgia. It reminded me of that feeling of beating a game when I was a kid, an uplifting happy tune that you could only hear after you've done something awesome.
It's just a mind-boggling sweet track, yo. Thank you for this!

Ah, no offense but it's been a long time since I've heard a song from you I liked this much, Nobu. Upbeat with varied levels of bitter and sweet really is what you do best, imo.
I'll second, and agree with Pyrokai; "It reminded me of that feeling of beating a game when I was a kid, an uplifting happy tune that you could only hear after you've done something awesome." I'll add though that it also has that slight backing of sadness that always comes with the ending credits of something you loved, regrettably being over.
My only critique is that the short key change at the end sounded fairly forced. I liked the actual melodic work during it, the small solo/fill going on, but the key change itself wasn't so hot.
Still among my favourite songs from you though.

...but what further adventures await?
This song does have the feel of finality of a happy ending to it, but it also sets up the beginnings of something else, as though to say at the very end "but that is a tale for another time." This is an awesome piece, inspiration born of dreams make for some of the best art.

no problem, however you should be aware that this song uses a lot of 4-note chord variations ! Reproducing it in 6 channels may be difficult (you could however use the PSG if your driver supports that, or stuff the base note and the 5th into one channel with that one trick, but that would reduce your effective operators)
Man, I wish I could compose stuff like he did, but he was always way better at staccato stuff even before going big time (and I always wished I could pull it off as effortlessly). None of my stuff really has that good kinda hooks, but I try. Sounds like you know some of the guy's deep cuts. Thanks for the compliment :3
