This is just makes me sad.
The thought of being automaton who is left alone and whose clockwork mechanism allows you to life only for few minutes and then when you try to stretch the spring to prolong your life but is too late and your body just froze - forever a few inches from the thing that keeped you alive - is really unsettling. :(
