Well, I've had an idea for this picture for a while now...(like 2 years) I'm kinda embarrassed how long it took me to finish. I was procrastinating because of the background, I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted the battleship halls to look like. I decided to bite the bullet and just go for it.

So here is the fruits of my hard labor. I spent a lot of time doing details, lighting and shading. And I spent way too much time on that control panel making it look control panel-ey. I'm pretty happy with the outcome and that I was able to finish it. I imagine that Captain Nico dropped by for a visit and Sasha was not prepared for guests. Then again, a battleship is not usually accustomed to having visitors. It looks like she's giving him a tour, or maybe they're off to a meeting room for snacks and to catch up?

I wonder what they're talking about?

So happy birthday/ happy friend-iversary Nico! I'm so glad I worked up the courage to talk to you at FWA 2018! I'm glad we're friends. <3 I hope to have many more years filled with our laughter and our goofy adventures.
