I'm guessing that most of you recognised this car right away ; very few cars say "Americana" like a 1957 Chevrolet. There's probably enough steel in those tailfins alone to fabricate an entire modern car!
There's something unbeatable about the look of chrome against black lacquer...it's the epitome of sheer badass elegance. This beautifully restored Bel Air sedan is a case in point. You could shave using this car's surface as a mirror.
