Appearance: Border collie fur pattern. Athletic build with large hips and long platinum hair. Suit is a flat grey with reflective yellow embellishments and an extendable wire-blade tail connected to a backpack unit, which can also be swapped for a set of artificial wings. Her suit is also insulated internally to prevent unintentional discharge. The neon yellow embellishments of the suit glow when May holds a charge


Abilities: Able to absorb, manipulate, and disperse high voltage. This also gives her Technopathic abilities. It also allows her to act as a Super-conductor for electricity with almost no resistance, as well as a Super-capacitor that can hold a massive charge of high voltage at the expense of stamina. In addition, May can download information from computers through her body by physically touching the terminal and storing the information in the equipment in her backpack unit. May also uses a set of blades that vibrate at a destructive frequency to cut through most materials with ease. She is also armed with a pair of beam cutters, which are essentially large cutting torches and used mainly in infiltration. Her engineering skills also allow her to craft tools and devices in the field if need be.

Skills: exceptional mathematic, electrical engineering, and programming skills. Training in dealing with hostage situations. Highly experienced with fencing and broadsword techniques.

Weaknesses: Making contact with a grounded surface while holding a charge will immediately deplete the charge, but her insulated suit prevents this for the most part. Overloading her charge capacity is highly detrimental to her health.

BIO:
May is an aspiring student in college, majoring in electrical engineering; but an unfortunate accident with a school project having to do with biological power generation by way of an electricity generating Algae, altered her very being by accidental exposure to the Algea's DNA, granting her the ability to absorb, disperse, and even control electricity to her will as a technopath and Electrokinetic. Her Physical strength would also increase up to 20-fold depending on the voltage of a charge she held.

She trained herself to control her abilities in what little spare time she had, and even made herself an insulated suit that would prevent her from accidentally discharging electricity, until she no longer needed to wear it 24/7.

Of course, May soon had to take up a part-time job to help pay for school when her mother became terminally ill back in London. May found a job as a Bank teller, and quickly became a favorite among customers due to her skills in math. However, May soon became the victim of a bank robbery, but managed to use her abilities to thwart the robbers and tripped the silent alarm without touching it. After these events, May was confronted by Ghost and became determined to become a hero, using her insulated suit and a pair of opaque safety goggles as a heroine uniform. This suit evolved over time to include many other improvements, and even a few spinning rims and weaponry in the form of physical blades. May had once studied fencing and had quite a few years experience as a result, so she became a force to reckon with.

As time went on, May became known to the public as “Cutting Edge”, due to her influence over technology and proficiency with bladed weapons.

Not long after making a name for herself, May started a relationship with one of her peers, by the name of Sasha Von Braun. They quickly bonded over their common point of origin and field of study, and worked closely together on May’s revitalized work on Biological electricity generation. Together, May and Sasha made great strides in working out the issues that caused the incident that gave May her abilities.

Unfortunately, May made the mistake of distracting Sasha at the wrong place and at the wrong time during a test of the Bio-energy generator. The building housing the Prototype Generator was struck by lightning, and the bolt hit the containment chamber and flooded the compound. May and Sasha managed to escape the Initial flood by climbing onto the service catwalks above. However, one of the catwalks gave weigh under Sasha, and May could only watch as she plummeted into the Neon red slurry below.

Sasha survived, at the expense of her entire body transforming into a living electrical generator, taking on the name “Neon” after her glowing red body. May tried her hardest to come up with a cure for Sasha’s condition and keep her mentally stable at the same time, but she would fail at both.
