Another drawing for the Diamond swaps, this time it's Blue Diamond's alter ego Lapis.

I wanted each of the Diamond's alter egos to be different gem types from each other because I thought making them all quartz soldiers would be boring. So I thought about it and I figured out each one would have a different body type and what gem would fit that body type.

For Lapis I thought she'd be the most slim and graceful of the alter egos and Lapis Lazuli's were one of the slimmest graceful gems in the show.

In terms of how she came to love Earth and all that it would probably be because she saw how peaceful Earth was and she could actually let herself relax without worrying about her Diamond duties.
