The primary species on this planet is the Kitzenkoshi, or Kitzen for short!
They are the majority population and are the elemental masters. The world of Tekishozen was created by gods and goddesses that the Kitzen descended from, so their ancestors are the gods and goddesses of this world.
They are a Kitsune like species, and their number of tails reflect how well mastered in their magic they are. The Kitzen can master any of 13 Elements! Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Energy, Healing, Poison, Light, Dark, Audio, Illusion, Mind, or Feeling. There are sub types for some elements that come with special gifts or particular specialty training like Ice, Lava, Plant, and Kinetic Energy! HOWEVER, 4 of the elements are taboo and considered cursed due to their evil roots. Audio, Illusion, Mind, and Feeling are these elements. While they are rare they do occur and many decide to not train in it due to ridicule and discrimination.

ANATOMY
Every Kitzen has fox like tails, cat like eyes, non human ears, elemental powers, and special markings!
They also have sharp claws and fangs, and are Omnivorous. Some may file down their claws if they so choose, and some may adapt different diets.
They can see well in the dark and focus well with their sharp eyes!
The markings on a Kitzen reflect their element and are present from birth. They ALWAYS have solid colored palms and foot bottoms BUT, They do grow/change, and better develop over time, but reach a final look around 18. The markings do not glow or posses any magical enhancement. Think of them as birth marks! Some may even get tattoos to add onto the look of their markings or cover them up.
Kitzen wear a wide array of clothing! In more traditional areas you will see them wearing loose flowy clothing in unique patterns and colors to their region, or, tightly wrapped fabrics for more mobility. In more modern cities you will see them wearing a huge variety of clothing in thousands of styles. You never know what you'll see! However, in traditional areas most don't wear shoes and some only wear sandals, while in modern areas there are all kinds of shoes. Its a new thing to them.
Kitzen's colors in their fur, hair, markings, and eyes, tend to reflect their element! There exists dye and styling but by birth they tend to really LOOK like their element. For example; Water elementals may have sleek fur that's water proof or wavy, with blue-green tones, Fire elementals may have fur that's wispy or wild and have red-orange tones, and Energy elementals may have wicked untameable fur with yellow to green tones. Again these are very basic guidelines and each Kitzen is different!
TRAITS AND RARITIES
Kitzen's traits do have rarities! They are broken down into, the horns, ears, tail type and number, and fur amount.
HORNS
-Kitzen Commonly have either none, or 1-2 horns, and have feels that are smooth or naturally textured.
-Uncommonly they may be seen with 3-4 horns, and may have antlers or have a swirly bend to them.
-Rarely you will see them with Up to 5 horns, or with unique shapes/textures.
Horns can be any color/colors and can be painted.
EARS
Kitzen have one set of ears, they have never been known to have 2 sets, and it files under the Anomalies Special Trait.
-Commonly you will see ears of fox like shapes/sizes.
-Uncommonly you'll see ears of the Cat or dog shape and size, and even ears with tufts at the tips.
-Rarely you'll see super huge ears, bunny like ears, Wing (fur not feathers) like ears, or elf like skin ears.
TAILS
Tail numbers in society actually are documented by their governments so you can see the break down of tail number rarities!
-1-4 tails is most common! Between children-teens and those who never hone their skills and live peacefully and casually, it makes up most of the population. -Uncommonly you will see 5-7 tails, those who are in progress of training or got to a decent level and stopped.
-And Rarely you will see 8-9 tails, those who pushed and went all the way. These Kitzen have huge respect points and are usually well known by the public and their region!
Not only tail numbers have variations, fur type does as well!
-Normal, Poofy, or flowy tails are very common.
-While Thin or silky tails are uncommon.
-SUPER LONG Tails are rare.
FUR
The amount of body fur a Kitzen has is another documented rarity scale! Fur can take on any texture/shape/color and may be styled and accessorized!
-No fur, short, or medium are very common to see.
-Long fur is uncommon
-And extremely long fur is rare!
SPECIAL TRAITS
Special traits are traits almost NEVER seen in Kitzen, but have been seen on extremely rare, almost legendary occasions!
-Paw feet and hands is a typical mutation. Its shocking to see but not revered as god like. (Is only a rare trait)
-10 tails is revered and seen as god like and extremely powerful. The god and goddesses who created their worlds had 10 tails!
-Halos are another thing that is revered. They are glowing floating energy that form rings and sometimes symbols around the Kitzen's head, neck, tails, or wrists. No one is sure what they do but it could be linked to higher power!
-Floating orbs are something that appears to Kitzen with extraordinary power, and they are used to store this additional magic energy that the Kitzen's body cannot handle. The balls will reflect their element in its raw form.
-Wings are typically found on air elementals but have been seen on others before. Again a mutation that is shocking but not revered.
-Multiple eyes and other Anomalies are typically seen in cursed elementals. Its both shocking and unnerving, AND extremely rare to see.
-Multiple elements ALMOST NEVER Happens. AND When it does the world hears about it! Its only happened a handful of times in the world's history. Its revered extremely and they are treated as demigods.
