Background: Sundari Akiho was born in a small village in the Sundarbans. She was an orphan girl who lived in a rundown hut near the village swamps. Though one day, as she was twelve, she had found a strange red tiger eye necklace in the swamp. However, unknown to her, a tiger was stalking through the reeds nearby. As she was looking through a fish basket she set up to catch food (fish or cobra), the tiger lunged right at her, and all went black. Once she came to, she was in the swmap, with a freshly bit shoulder. Scared, she ran to her hut and treated her wound with what she had on hand. All she had to wear was a royal purple long sleeve karate gi with black tiger stripes from China she had gotten through a village sale.
The next morning, she found that her wounds had healed miraculously healed with no scaring at all. But something else happened as swell. Later on in the evening, just as the sun had set, the young girl walke dover through the swamp. However, she also noticed that she could see in the dark. But then she heard a gunshot nearby, as she looked to see a man pointing a hunting rifle at a deer. She then saw that there were several other animal pelts on his shoulder.
A poacher.
At that moment, Akiho decided that she had to do something, despite being so young. She had seen people get killed by said poachers as well. She bolted and leapt right at the poacher, however, it was all a blur for her as she didn’t remember. But the hunter remembered, as when he saw the girl leap out, she had changed into a humanoid-like tiger. The two viciously fought, with the girl so hyped up on adrenaline that she didn’t realize it until it was too late. The tiger slashed at his face, scarring him with 4 clawmarks across his mug. And then once again, everything had gone black for her.
When Sundari awoke again, she saw the deer had run off, but as she turned to the man, who was still in pain and more focused on his face than her, she saw her reflection in the swamp water. She paled at what she had become or what she had done, running deep into the forest disappearing from sight.
When she awoke the next morning, she was curled up in what appeared to be a clean dojo, wearing a fresh pajama gi with her purple one set aside and cleaned. Then, she saw a man coming into the room with a dish of meat and noodles, of which she gladly ate up, but then stopped, as she asked who he was and why he helped her. He introduced himself as Pai Wan, a teacher of Shaolin and other Martial Arts. And shocking the girl a bit, transformed as he showed that he too was a humanoid Tiger. A Were-Tiger to be exact. living with Pai Wan, Sundari learned the Tiger Style of Martial Arts of Shaolin, including the Black Tiger and Tiger Claw style, all while learning there were other beings like them, living in a city known as (insert name of city); a safe haven ofr those like them. He said that once her training was over, she could go and live there. Though for the first time in Sundari’s life, she had a family, and argued that there was no way she would leave him, and just ran to her room.
When she was eighteen, the dojo was attacked by the same poacher that she had scarred. The place was set ablaze, and Pai Wan had been killed by the man. Once she saw this, she transformed and a battle ensued, but with the hunter using the fire to his advantage; he got lucky and burned her left side of ribs leaving a mark. However, she managed to smash the rifle and was about to kill him… until she stopped, realzing she would have been more of a monster if she did so. However, as she turned around to reflect on that, the hunter was about ot kill her… though he was killed by a white rabbit-man, who uttered to Sundari who was in shock, ‘Don’t Doubt your Instincts’ and then bolted out of there.
Her home burnt and her master buried, Sundari decided now to set out to the city to where her master said she would go.
Once there, she found out the hard way that the hierarchy system of the weres were slightly injust, causing gangs and turfwars to happen out. Even some caused by the Da Clan run by the Dragon King; who controlled the water supply to the city. Unfortunately, she also drew the attention of the youngest son of Mr. Da, Ao, who wanted her as his concubine. Though her transformation only caused him to try and kill her, only for her to easily fight back and scar his arm, causing him to retreat. Thought his also drew the attention of a Red Dragon who tried to quell the fight, only for the two to fight… which turned to flirtation to her when she realized the guy wasn’t all that bad.
Afterwards, both introduced themselves, as his name was Draco Ryu, attending Cryptid Academy, the college of the city. There, Sundaru was set up residence in the Tropical Jungle District as well as for the Kung Fu Club and Zodiac Club at the academy. Though when things would get roughed, both she and Ryu volunteered to join the City’s newest Zodiac SWAT Squad to deal with the turf wars getting out of hand, as well as outside problems like the supernatural and the human kind that wanted them all dead.
Personality: Sundari is a fierce and proud individual.
She is a very dominant, tomboyish, aggressive, and sometimes forceful personality in spite of her small size (relative to a normal tiger). Because of that, she can be very headstrong and stubborn to a fault, which also means she’s steadfast in her beliefs and seems to lack an understanding of when to surrender. This at times can be turned against her from an opponent that can do some precise damage to her; example being Uragi almost tearing the ligaments in her ankle thus keeping her from fighting.
Because she came from a region where she frequently had to swim, as well as due to her immense strength, Sundari has and is always barefoot (she also prefers doing this as she can also sense her surroundings much more easily as well via grounding). Meaning, whatever she’s wearing wherever she is, she will always be barefoot. But she has recently been wearing footwear that has no toes, soles or balls on her feet, giving her at least some covering.
In spite of her aggressive nature, Sundari also has a much softer side. She can be very wise beyond her years and is quite intelligent as well. But she often searches for true wisdom. Sundari has a love for mythologies, especially the legends of the Spirit Library by Wong Shi Tong or Koh the Face-Stealer. She is even a fangirl of the stories of such legends like the Monkey King, Nehza, or Blanca the White Snake Demoness who fell in love with a mortal. Because of these, she wishes to become a hero like the legendary heroes she admires, which is a reason why she wanted to join the Zodiac SWAT Forces.
However, she has a fierce hatred for the Wendigo, as she found herself appalled by the atrocities of this cryptid and found them to be beyond human or beast. She considers them to be downright unspeakable.
Sundari can be suspicious around normal humans at times, mainly due to remembering that tigers were used in circuses and forced to jump through flames. She is currently looking for a way to control Fire, possibly as a means of covercoming her trauma (she has a nasty burn mark on her side wich she hides).
Sundari has a frenemy relationship with the Nemean Lion Hercule Leo, as both Lion and Tiger are the dominant predators in their area and species. And the two fo them can frequently be seen hanging out together due to their mythical origins. However, Sundari sometimes views Leo as a snobbish braggart when he starts bragging about lions being the King of Beasts (tigers are considered the King of Beasts in Asia), while Leo sometimes views Sundari as being something of a savage and a barbarian due to her aggressive and blunt nature, and this has led to literal cat fights. She also dislikes Mandy De Vil, a Devil Monkey who is notorious as a trickster and a prankster similar to Pan or Puck.
Despite also the historic rivalry between Dragons and Tigers, Sundari doesn’t care about that when she’s with Draco Ryu, her first friend in (insert city name). though their historic rivalry is still something they enjoy.
She enjoys Jasmine or Silver tea, and has a past time making it too, which she is very good at too. Her best friends are the Owlman Bubo, a female Ahool named Athol Bati (bati athol) and a phantom panther named Shadow. But her best friend/neighbor is Shuri Mi, a were-chinese golden monkey who is the opposite of Mandy De Vil, but also gives her the best body massages, especially with her feet.
Sundari has a bit of modesty, but whether in her backyard, home, or in the jungle, she likes to go in the nude, particulary in her human form at best. At times, she’ll even roll around in mud to have a nice time with the smooth sensation of mud on her body.

Superhuman Bite: Bone Crushing, she has a bite force fo 1050 psi and up to 4 inch long canines.
Stealth: Like Tigers, her stealth is on the extreme thanks to her light foot steps.
