The plate in scripted with the seal that holds back the Inner self of the ancient dragon all ancient dragons have a seal and each seal means something. The seal markings is also tattooed on the chest, these just represent the seal and are not the real seals. the real ones are within their consciousness. though if broken the seal will have a crack though it and on the chest a gash - this only represents the breaking and if u see it happen run like hell (in dairigon's case.) though the inner-self when emerged can be stopped and laid to rest - is is dam hard to force it back. In the unlucky chance that they retake their feral self u better start praying. although most times they do not do this and just stay in the anthro form just a lot meaner looking.
