Oh really? Hah, nice! I know someone who used to work there who was a shift operator. I'm an urban explorer and managed to explore Eggborough this year before the cooling towers were demolished. He gave me a few tips about how to get up on top of the precipitator annex. Fascinating place.
Especially the latest event - boiler house and both chimneys. I wasn't expecting that all to go in one lump. Usually it's spaced out. But the last three towers at Ferry are due to come down as well. And as soon as Ferry is gone, Fiddler's Ferry near Liverpool is next on the demolition cards... Managed to explore Fiddler's three times now. Amazing site.
