Poppin and Hugo where hiking along the woods trying to find a place to rest for the night, when they came across a hungry snake. the serpent hypnotized the poor birds, wrapping its coils around the two birds, lifting them up into the trees. soon enough Hugo was the first to be eating by the hungry snake, with Poppin soon to join his snowy owl friend.
