As I write my book series for Taylor, my ideas for her commissions and art changes with where I'm at currently in the story. It helps me visualize the environment and where Taylor is emotionally and physically in her journey. As of this commission, I am writing book 3 of 6 in her series.
Taylor is forced to head south, through the isthmus to the southern country of Talkar - where the reptiles live. Expecting more of the same treatment like she got from among her mammal kin, she was shocked to find that she was treated more like royalty. The reasons why were a mystery to her and the friends she kept and brought with her to Talkar warned her to be wary. Something didn't feel right. Still, being given the freedom to do and go where she wanted (within stipulated limits), Taylor felt relief and a sense of peace she hadn't felt in years. With the growing life in her belly getting more obvious by the week, she took the opportunity to take a dip in the nearby jungle spring to cool off during the muggy summer heat. The palace guards of the reptile imperial seat were keeping a respectful distance while she bathed, but always ensured a vigilant eye on her since despite her supposed freedom, she was still a guest in an invisible prison. She just couldn't see it yet.

Damn, this is such a beautiful scene! Both
smiju and
nastywolf613 did an outstanding job capturing this scene! Credit where credit is due, I have to say the environment is drawn superbly! Down to the small foliage in the foreground to the ones around the stream. The intricate details they put in both her tail and hair should also be commended! You can really tell her tail is a bit bushy and maintained somewhat. The small strands of hair that are loose shows she's been through it for a time. I can just FEEL the coolness and relaxing feeling of this area simply by looking at it!
Seriously, this is a wonderful commission you received!
