EDIT: F5 if you don't see the new image. I recently discovered that shadows appear a lot lighter on my laptop screen then other screens, so I've been trying to lighten up my shadows a bit. Not only that but I wasn't entirely happy with the shading and lighting on this. So I went back and changed up a few things and I'm much happier with it now!

I recently read the Green Creek/Wolfsong series by TJ Klune and I really loved it. I love how the werewolves behave with each other, it's a beautiful story and I enjoyed the whole thing.

So the characters are as follows: Timber colored wolf is Gavin, he's cuddling with Carter. Top middle is Robbie (top) and Kelly. Top right is Elizabeth. Middle is Oxnard (black) and Joe (white.) Middle right is Rico (wolf) and Bambi with their baby. Bottom left is Dominique (wolf) and Jessie. Bottom middle is Chris and Tanner. Bottom right is Mark (wolf) and Gordo.

First, some of the wolf forms don't have very detailed descriptions, so I had fun and went a little wild designing those ones. I didn't stick very close to how the humans are described because I had a picture in my head and these are what they looked like to me. Probably my biggest headcanon in this whole thing is Carter. When I was reading their book I noticed they were going through a lot of struggles as I did when I first started working out I was trans. In that spirit, I made Carter transfem/mtf. As I was thinking through this I envisioned her realizing it after the conclusion of the series and that she's started hormone therapy. Because of this, when she transforms she is a female bodied werewolf. I've always done this with my wereanimal characters so I decided to do this here. It's just something I've always found comforting and fun as a transmasc person when I make wereanimal characters.
