I generally never do fanart, as I like to work with my own creations or other characters on FA.
But I remember liking this show when I was young. Then I went back and watched the whole first season on DVD. I gotta tell you, the voice acting and script are so painfully terrible I found myself turning the sound way down most of the time. I mainly like the show for the fairly high density of loincloths, briefs and bare male legs ;) Also, Mumm-raa is one of the cooler Rankin Bass cartoon villains
But that Jackalman was HOT! My fav of all of the mutants, because he has a slender build and I always liked that outfit. And he even gets tied up in one episode =D
So here we go, a fan char pic of the J-man. Maybe next time *I* will tie him up and play with him =)

it was like one of the very early episodes like 3 or 4 or 5... I think its the same one where they tie Tygra to a device that will rip him apart at dawn, and after they all of course escape they end up doing significant damage to the Mutant's Lair
I liked that one cause there were lots of other random jackalmen milling about.. doin their thing
unless im wrong and it was the episode where they found that telepathic spaceship thing that looked kind of like a tiny Imperial Cruiser

Yes, that is the funny thing about a show you loved as a child and see many years later and you can stand to watch it. You just grow up and you become a lot more mature in your likes and the old shows just can't keep up with your many changing loves. But it is good you like the mutants still. I enjoy all of them and I am happy you enjoy the villains over the heroes.
