Shout out to Colt @ DefiantWings Owners Group on Facebook, thank you for the vinyl graphics; they are beautiful! It was a bit challenging to apply the vinyl on the wing but I found an easy solution and it all worked out! =J
UNFORTUNATELY (can you see the problem guys!?), while I was TRYING to maiden and trim this twin motor Assassin wing; it was extremely tail-heavy, painfully under powered (40a esc's on 1800mAh 3s Lipo turning twin 5146 tri-blade props) and POORLY designed by yours truly. Where are the vert-stabs? Oh they're there, two fins laser-cut from 1.5mm polycarbonate sheet; to give the plane the illusion that it's finless. =J
It looked great on the ground, flew poorly in the sky. Both motor mounts cookie-cut through the foam and were dangling in place from the nylon shock-cord embedded around the wing (I did NOT reinforce the foam with spars around the motor mounts). So yeah, there goes a WHOLE years worth of planning down the drain; and I learned a couple things the HARD way. =C
I really don't feel like repairing this (it's not gonna fly anyway), so when I can I gonna buy a purpose made twin D66... Colt, I'm gonna need your services again with the same graphics I gave you; just don't include the decals. XJ
