I was inspired by Food Wars to try this one. But I dislike beef so I used chicken.
Ingredients:
Chicken wings,
onion
soy sauce
Rice
red wine
seasoning
Potato starch
Preperation:
Wrap the chicken wing in wrapping foil and smash it thin with a rolling pin. Than use the back of your knife to smash it a little bit more. Use the same knife to make cuts on both sides, make sure you don't cut trough.
Chop your onion in smaller pieces and coat the chicken wing. Put it away for at least 30 minutes, being wrapped in foil again. If you put it in the fridge get it out 30 minutes before cooking so it will be on room themperature.
Heat some butter in the pan (You can cook the rice in the same time you need to finish the steak) and sauce the onion. Than put the meat inside, after you unwrap the wings from the wrapping foil and seasoned it. Cook it like you want and put it somewhere to rest, but keep it warm.
Use the meat juice and add some red wine to the pan, boil it and mix it with say sauce. Last step add some dissolved potato starch to the mix to make a thicked sauce.
