I'm trying my hand at making silicone and resin fursuit components! I'm agonizi glad aware of all the bubbles in each piece, but I'm learning! And I thought I'd share my progress. The nose was poured before I got my vacuum chamber, and you can see the tiny bubbles in the surface of the cast. The paw was cast after I got the vacuum chamber, and it took care of those surface bubbles! It also taught me that you don't lay down your felt until you're finished degassing your silicone. The claws were cast in uv resin as a quick proof of concept. Finalized claws will be cast in two-part epoxy.
