FOOOK do I hate looming deadlines >_>; finished this WAY to close to the time limit for my liking >_< This is what I get for working on a million different things at once THANKS BRAIN GOOD JOB FOCUSING. TBH this was a bit of a stressful piece because I reeeaaally didn't want her to come out looking like a Caucasian/Asian with dark colored skin :/ She is a fantasy elf, but I feel like making zero effort to accurately represent a character authentically (by assuming the more C/A features are 'default' or 'normal') is a form of micro aggression and I like to kinda... try not to do that shit.
But also, I didn't want to make her look stereotypical. Some animation styles capture black people rather well and others come off like racist propaganda. I wanted to avoid the latter ^^;;;
I THINK I did I decent job-- she vastly approved, in any case! So I shall consider the experiment a success!~ ^^
