Down by a creek in Santa Rosa's downtown, you can see what must have once been a busy railyard, framed on one side by fashionable hotels and railroad depots, and on the other side by warehouses and industries.
The railyard was torn up years ago, although there are some rail cars someone apparently hopes to restore. The hotel is still a hotel; one of the depots is a nice enough coffee shop, and the other is a little railway museum. A few walls have been left standing from the small industries, and this is what was once the inside of one, facing outwards towards the tracks.

I really like that picture. There are very few furry artist who take pics of Santa Rosa that I know of. I actually work near there in The Railroad Square area. LOL.
Its going to take while but the city of Santa Rosa is going to fix up the train tracks and start using them again and includes that portion of the wall. I can't wait to see if they restore the wall to its original structural design.
