The sun rose every morning at about 5am. By 5:15, a chorus of birds, bugs, and freaking howler monkeys would start roaring from the rainforest all around us. A large troupe of howler monkeys (who are shockingly loud when you actually look at how small they are,) lived in a tree right outside my bedroom window. Every morning I awoke to what sounded like a pack of seven demons roaring down from the trees. C:
