''GBA Broken Pier'' by Daniël Koper
Another one of those pictures my friend Daniël drew for me. I saved it at home for some time, but then decided to bring it with me to his work so he could finish it today. It's a handdrawn sketch of Broken Pier from Mario Kart Super Circuit! I just LOVE the ghost courses in Mario Kart, and Broken Pier is my favorite! Daniël accurately drew the blue mountain with the creepy face, the surrounding peaks, the lavender sky, the dark abyss and the rickety wooden race track itself. Just like GBA Cheep Cheep Island, I hope this spooky track makes it into the next Mario Kart game! Both tracks are quite often overlooked by people and they both originate from the same exact game. They both also haven't got the remake treatment yet and have so much potential for some new ideas!
