Yeah! There were a whole line of animated movies before they made the live action one. In my opinion the animated were much better than the live-action. Of course I was pretty much grown up on them.
My favorites were: The Twelve Tasks of Asterix, Asterix Versus Caesar and Asterix in Britain.
I highly recommend them if you ever get chance to watch/internet pirate them.

well ive read "asterix the brave" over and over. the 4 stories its got are the golden sickle, the cauldren, the hormans(thats a funny one) and the great crossing(which i believe was the same one in the live action one). so i realy havnt seen much but i still love em that i wanna read/watch more. think they got eppies on youtube?
