I'm a bit conflicted on this one. I think Rhona, like Dominika and many other girls (and guys!), might definitely work as eye candy, because even then, you get a feel of their personalities, at least, that's what I feel. Outgoing, fun-loving party girl who has no problem with baring all! Yeah, you know I adore her so much... 😏😘

Now, if you did try and go with developing her, I kind of had the idea that is true to her character - perhaps having too many one-night stands from too much partying (again, fitting), so if she did have a kid (or several!), it'd be hilarious finger-pointing...perhaps Shep would be one of the culprits?

Now, that made me want to draw that! 😁

Eye candy characters are fun! I just feel like I have too many that have no real depth beyond that, and that I should try to develop them a bit further, even if it is just to give them a generic job that allows them to be background extras in certain scenes or something. I do suppose that, while pairing them up with another character does give them a bit more of a place in the world, it does sorta lower the "eye candy" appeal a bit knowing that they're spoken for (in canon at least).

I suppose I have portrayed her as a party girl in the past, to the point where she was celebrating Mardi Gras topless a few years back, so that's actually a good suggestion as well--it would give me an excuse to come up with whatever the in-universe equivalent of Maury or Jerry would be at the very least!
Seems a little bit trashy, sure, but if she is in a relationship with one of the military guys and she's out partying and taking her top off and all while they're on active duty, that's just as trashy if not worse... But what if it was during her partying phase that she hooked up with the guy she'd wind up going steady with?

Of course, there's nothing saying I have to ever have a partner in the picture at all, she could just be a single mom. She wouldn't be the first, not by a long shot!

Oh, yeah, I would love to see a Maury-like situation, with multiple fathers! I'm thinking there'd be so many people! Despite that, Rhona would still be the party girl I know and love 😜😘🥰 (She deserves a drawing!)

And yeah, I'd love to see her as a single mom, with multiple kids. I really, really want to draw that, because I figured that my Shep would be one of the "baby daddies!" Of course, Shep would be off doing space pirate things...

I am still giving her a bit of thought, she doesn't necessarily strike me as the type to have a ton of baby daddies but she still enjoys going out and partying. For her it might just be more about socializing than hook-ups... at least until the alcohol starts flowing!

A parody of Maury or Jerry could be pretty fun if I ever got motivated to do something that big, though--Rhona as the subject of the episode, maybe a couple cameos from friends' characters as potential fathers, and from my own roster there's a couple guys besides Nikolai and Rollo that might be fun to include--action hero Dominic Wolff comes to mind, as he canonically has (at least) two kids and could have plausibly run into Rhona at a bar or something at some point!

I guess it might be quite amusing to see Nikolai being the one taking orders from someone else, especially assuming Rhona isn't involved in the military herself. ^^

Very true, while I never thought of her being domineering or bossy, the idea of her being the one ordering around the big bad wolf sergeant is rather amusing...
