Max's very first day as a unicorn. And he immediately tries to get used to it, and that leads to questions and a magical memory.

The Lover
——————
Very early in the morning, Max started to wake up. He noticed that Iris rolled over in her sleep, he was then free from her love grip. He sat up, remembering and thinking about what happened hours earlier and realizing that it wasn't a dream. He then realized something. In the faint light of the room, he saw a magazine on the floor. He slightly glared at it with his brow furrowed, completely focusing on the object. He then reached out his hand like He was using the force. He couldn't see it, but his eyes started glowing with sparkles. The magazine was floating with a white sparkles surrounding it. His eyes widened as he felt pride, then the magazine zipped up and hit the ceiling. Now nervous, he looked at Iris who was starting to wake up.
"Trying to practice your new abilities?" She asked with a smile.
"Yeah. You weren't hugging me and I thought I could practice my first day as a unicorn."
"I purposely rolled over so you could practice, because I sensed that you would want to practice."
Max was amazed by the prediction. "Ever since I met you I always wondered what it would be like to have magic."
"The queen did say you can turn to me as a teacher. And I can teach you anything you want to know."
"I have a ton of things I want to know. For example, even though I'm a unicorn too, isn't it kinda weird that we're gonna start dating that you're like, hundreds of years older than me?"
"Well, I keep saying that I am five hundred years old, but to be more specific and honest, I am five hundred and fifteen years old, and you are fifteen. So you can think of that instead of the age gap."
"That makes it less weird. Another question, Jackie pointed out that I don't have a horn, so where does my magic come from?"
"Hm. Use your magic to make that pillow float so I can tell you." Max looked at a throw pillow next to her and reached out towards it with his eyes glaring in concentration. The pillow then started floating with sparkles surrounding it. Iris noticed that his eyes were glowing with sparkles around them. "It would seem that only some magic comes from your hands, but most, if not all of your magic originates from your eyes." Max was about ask another question, but she beat him to it. "And yes, it would be appropriate and sufficient for you to use hand gestures while using magic like a Jedi."
Max smiled when he heard he was allowed to use his imagination with real magic. Then the pillow zipped towards him and smacked him in the face knocking on his back. It took all of Iris' self control not to laugh at the misfortune that happened. He sat back up. "One last question, since I'm a unicorn, does that mean I have to be a humans friend and live with them until they die, and keep doing that?"
"Well, you don't have to be someone's friend. I haven't been completely honest about a unicorns purpose. A unicorns purpose in existence is to use magic to make life better for mortals and the earth. There are many ways that a unicorn can make life better, and being a friend is one of the ways. For a unicorn being the best friend to a human, it's not a commandment, it's a choice. I could have chosen to be a wizard, practicing the greatest magic. I could've lived in a single town and helped them with all their major problems. Or I could've stayed in a forest to keep it purified and clean and untouched by man. But I chose to be a friend to those who need a unicorn in their lives. But since it might be centuries when you die, there's no need to have a new main friend. My parents spend their days living in a town in England, while my brother is a unicorn wizard, and my sister lives in a nature reserve helping to keep it beautiful. Just like most humans, a unicorn chooses what brings them joy to be what they are. And being the greatest friend a human can have brings me pride and joy. What brings you joy can be what you do with the rest of your life. Either be a wizard or help this town. The choice is yours, either way, I will love you."
Max realized the last thing she said. "Well, it might be a long while since I make that choice, but I know what I want to be now." Iris was then curious about what he wanted to be now. "Since my theory was right, I could. . . be your . . . . . boyfriend?"
Iris was confused. "We. . . technically are a couple, and you know with your new magic that it was my kiss that brought you back to life."
"Exactly. What I'm saying is if we could kiss again to make this official. Considering I've been dead for our first kiss." Max realized something with his new ability. He counted with his fingers and corrected himself. "Our second kiss. And I have a crazy idea where it might be."
Iris with her magic understood what his idea of the place was. "Then we will have to sleep more and go there." She lied down, and seconds later, she fell asleep. Max witnessed the magic she used, later on, and tried to think of what she did. He hear her voice. "'First lesson: For instant sleep, just think about sleeping, and nothing else."' Max decided to do that, and amazingly, he fell asleep. Iris smiled in his sleep.

5 A.M., they were at the building where they were hours ago. Max stood outside, really hesitant to go inside.
Iris noticed. "Are you sure about this? This place could bring back some post traumatic stress."
"Scarlet tried to kiss Jason and he was shocked and he kinda blew it. And they had their first real kiss in the church. I feel like that this should be the place for our real first kiss." (AN~ I'm working on a remake of Jason and Scarlet's first kiss, longer and more dramatic)
Iris then agreed with him. "You're right, and you may have magic of your own, but with my magic, I can make you calm about the surroundings."
Max decided to let her manipulate his emotions and walked in the building. And because of Iris, he wasn't freaking out.
Max looked around the building and at his own hands. "It's hard to believe that just a few hours ago, I was human. And now, I'm a unicorn."
"I sense that you'll get used to it very soon." They walked to center of the building. They were preparing themselves for what they wanted to do for hours. She sensed that he was nervous. "Second lesson: To control your own emotions, think about being calm. And you will." Max decided to do that, and it worked.
He stood on the very spot where his life was changed, and despite him manipulating his own emotions, he was thinking about the man who had a big part of his life changing.
Iris noticed that he was nervous. "With my magic, I can sense that the man responsible for your trauma and your father is being laughed at by other criminals because of his name, and with an ice pack between his legs." Max smiled at her comment. "Are you ready to replace the horrible moment of this very spot with a wonderful memory?"
Max then figuratively and literally shook all the nervous feeling out of him and nodded.
Seconds later, they stared at each other, the leaned their heads forward. Max placed his hands on both bottom sides of her muzzle. She realized what she was doing and placed one of he front legs around his neck. They both pulled each other closer to each other and . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . they started kissing.

They were both feeling great emotions!
Max didn't know it, but if he was alive when he changed, this is what he would have been feeling!
Iris felt so many fantastic emotions, that her magic that was helping herself, was fading! Her invisible accessories were now visible, and if anyone was around them, they would freak out what with the shield thing being down!
And there were sparkles and auras of rainbows surrounding them! The streams of sparkles were acting like wind effecting their hair! And romantic music was being heard out of thin air!
After about three minutes of intensely romantic kissing, they finally broke apart. They looked in each others eyes. They were silent for half a minute, until Iris broke the silence.
"So, this is what it feels like." Max looked confused wondering what she said. "All these years of bringing couples together, I'm finally in a romantic relationship. With my magic, I knew what those emotions felt like, but now, I can officially feel it everyday!"
Max smiled, then he realized that her hair feather was visible. He looked down at her neck to prove a small theory he had and saw that her necklace was visible too.
She noticed. "I was so distracted by the kiss that my magic that's helping myself has faded. You're lucky that you're a unicorn, too. You would be overwhelmed by my beauty."
"I feel like I might be everyday." He held the metal unicorn heart in his hand. "My dad's idea of giving a girl a cheap necklace, he said it was how he got my mom in love with him. I had no idea that that girl I would be in love with was a unicorn. "
"But you might have known that the girl you fall in love with would be your best friend."
"I keep saying you're the best friend I've ever had."
"The reason why I don't constantly brag about my beauty like most unicorns, is to not annoy my friends. What say we head home and enjoy our first day as a couple?" She bounced her eyebrows to be flirty.
Max smiled nervously and tried be flirty too. "We may, have to skip church so we can spend time with each other."
"When you say spend time together, you mean with video games and movies and nothing explicit, right?" Max nodded, Iris smirked back. "And I suggest that we watch Jurassic World. Since your parents watched Jurassic Park on their first date."
"That's a great idea!" Max said.
Iris turned to her side, clearly wanting Max to mount her.
Max understood what she wanted. He then focused on his own body, and with his eyes glowing with sparkles, he started floating with sparkles surrounding him. He was like a superhero practicing his new flight ability. He steadily floated towards Iris trying very hard not to lunge into the ceiling like the magazine hours prior. He was then floating an inch above Iris. The sparkles then stopped and he was sitting on Iris.
Iris smiled as she was already a great teacher. She used her magic to cast her shield thing and her accessories became invisible. She then galloped away leaving the horrible place with a new great memory.
And both were imaging what the future would hold!
Epilogue
Well, that's how a story where a human is in love with a mythical creature goes. Yes, there are some with mermaids and vampires, but this is a unique story. As unique as a unicorn's single horn. Most good stories have an epilogue, and this one explains what happens to the characters.
As promised, Iris and Max answered the questions the group had. And every other of Max's classmates were wondering about his new appearance. Luckily, Iris knew a spell that can act as a projection movie on the pull down screen that can show those who are watching memories. And with the part where Max was being tortured, he obviously had to be in the hallway for that.
As predicted, Max became Dr. Phillip's favorite student. And because of Iris, people started to take a huge interest of mythology, and more students started signing up for the class next semester. Because of all the students, Dr. Phillip eventually became an actual official teacher.
Drake became the favorite volunteer firefighter of every fire station in a ten mile radius. He even starred in some commercials for several stations. And even became the mascot of one. That made him proud because the symbol of the kingdom he was born in was a dragon.
Angela started helping the police and FBI with cases. She was even helping the military with war strategies. And her favorite career, she was being paid by the government to test out new weapons.
Amy and Chayton even went on a few dates.
Bobby became an expert at Spanish, the best the school has seen, and even became a tutor. As long as they never know that he had help from a magic friend to cheat. But he did it for love, dagnabbit!
And since María told him her secret, he decided that to share his secret that he was into cars and vehicles. And since Bobby told it to everyone, she told everyone her secret. Just as long as she never knows that they already know.
McKenzie and Trent became brave enough to take jewelry class.
María joined the cheer leading squad and was amazing despite her legs.
Just a few weeks after meeting Iris, McKenzie's vlog got the incredible amount of subscribers due to having a real unicorn and dragon. Giving her the popularity her past spoiled self always wanted.
Frank was expelled from school, much to Sammi's enjoyment.
McKenzie's parents adopted the little girl who's parents were killed by Thilker. They decided to adopted a foreign child considering that she was from India. Along with that, her birth parents owned an Indian restaurant, so to make her very comfortable, Adrian bought the restaurant.
Drake and Angela went on a few dates. The shooting range, meals at fire stations, and saving people from burning buildings. For their species, those are considered romantic. Their romance may seem rushed to you, but they have known each other for about two hundred and thirty years, they were best friends, now, they're lovers.
Chelsea and Jackie eventually announced their feelings for each other to their friends and families. And because of Iris, they were all completely okay with it.
Phil and Sherri eventually announced their news to everyone.
Jason and Scarlet became the healthiest couple of the group. They hardly argued and they did their best not to upset each other and cheer each other up when either one is upset, and, in the future, with the help of Iris, Scarlet kept the raging hormones of her pregnancies at bay to keep Jason in love with her. Scarlet even got baptized to be closer to him. Despite the fact that she normally prays to a goddess of animals and nature. Scarlet started working as a custodian at Faust Elementary, despite the fact that she is very disturbed by the mascot. She even bought herself her own tablet. And Jason eventually was ready for that kind of snuggle.
Thrilker was given a life sentence and didn't escape prison. And he became so annoyed with all the mocking, he started going by Karl Mech again.
Carrie gave birth to her third son, and about Derrick, given Larry's blessing, they went on more dates, and eventually, he proposed! As Iris predicted, he was a great stepfather.
As Angela swore, she got Penny to go to church. And Angela, with the money she made from the government, she bought a pet carrier purse. Penny enjoyed it what with it not being crowded by weapons.
And Max and Iris? Well, they had became the best couple that she had brought together. Max is technically a unicorn, but his body was in the shape of a human. But he had everything a unicorn has. Silver blood, sleep and eating by choice, and magic! Iris became his teacher with magic. Normally, unicorns Max's age are in magic school, but Iris easily taught him everything she knew and she even taught herself about new spells and magic. And as he promised to the queen, Max made more friends and he had fun with his very long life.
When Max became a full unicorn eighty five years later, they were a normal unicorn couple. Just like Iris' parents, she and Max were living in Midvale helping the people with problems.
And how I am explaining things like this, you'd think that this is the end of the story. But this is just the beginning to many adventures. This story proves that just one friend can make a difference in your life. If you were a fan of unicorns when you were a kid, you were probably-
"Hey Josh!" I heard an agitated voice. Nate then came in the room. "I've got a bone to pick with you! All of my friends have love interests! My own sister has one! Everyone has one but me!!"
Just, calm down! You'll get your own in the sequel.
"Oh! Really?" He looked calm. "Well that's a relief! I need my own Flora."
You know, I really regret making you a web comic fan. And I thought I changed every web comic reference you said!
"Oh, sorry, I need my own, cliche love interest? Better?"
Yeah, actually.
"You know, with web comics, I did foreshadow Max and Iris. An animal and human being in love."
Didn't Rocket Racoon have humanoid girlfriends?
"Yeah, he did, and Howard the Duck."
See? Being a normal comic book fan is better! You say references most people will under stand.
"You should see my brother, the guy is like a huge comic book nerd! He's read so many comic books, I'm mostly interested in movies and animated shows. He doesn't come to our school, he goes to a school for geniuses, 'cause he's really smart.
Then Deadpool walked in. "Hey man, I may be a terrible role model, but what have I taught kids?"
Nate answered. "Super hero landings are bad for your knees?"
"No, but that's good too. It's 'leave the fourth wall breaking to the professionals!"
"Oh right. Sorry. I know it's like one of your best super powers."
If I may continue, please!?!
"Oh, right. Sorry. I'll let you finish. You've only been working on that for about a year and a half." Nate left the room.
Deadpool turned to me. "I'm proud of you man. You did not stop in the middle. You worked hard for this story. And I can tell that you want an animatic movie on YouTube to happen. Let's hope it happens. Unlike my own cartoon that was &%$@ing canceled before it was even out! Love your story. Watch my movies when you have the chance." He walked out of the room while pounding in chest and giving a peace sign and the forth wall breaking moment was finally over.
Anyway, as I was saying. If you were a fan of unicorns when you were a kid or still a fan of unicorns, you were probably feeling joy to know what it was like living with a unicorn.
Iris has gone by many names. Lilly, Buttercup, Bindii, Dalia, and Rose. But the name she spent the most time being called by, was Iris. Due to the fact that her main friend hadn't died for a very long time. Which ment she was right. Max died at the right old age of 3037 and Iris died at the age of 3537. Meaning they both spent their last moments together. They loved each other so much, that their wedding eventually happened sooner than you thought, but that's another story. Iris' magic to bring couples together was so incredible and she was so talented, that her daughters and sons were just as talented. Again, that's another story.
Iris made the lives of everyone in the group better, that's the main reason why the group stayed together for years, even after high school graduation. And after this story, she brought more friend into Max's life and brought more couples together.
Iris enjoys bringing friends together and loves having friends. That's the main reason why she gave Max so many friends, to let him know how much joy so many friends can give someone. After all the joy she got from bringing couples together, she now has the joy of having a boyfriend of her own. She was the friend of many, but her friendship that lasted the longest, was her friendship with Max. She wasn't just his friend, she was his lover! And not just that, she was, a Mythical Lover
(AN~ I'm treating this like a movie. So this has closing credits. I'm basing this off the end credits of the first Avengers movie, with the actors names and beneath them, items that describe them. Remember, these actors didn't actually voice them, the characters just sound and/or look like them. Also, I've changed some of the voices of the characters and added voices of characters. For the items, it will be obvious about the characters, for those that might be difficult, Kurt Russel as Jason's dad, Yuri Lowenthal as Jason's brother, Jim Cummings as the fake cowboy boss, Cedric The Entertainer as Officer Jones, Maria Canals as María's mother, Amy Sedaris as Bobby's mother, Clair Colette as Pheobe, and Landry Bender as Jason's sister. I'm adding changes to every chapter, so if you can reread the chapters you already read, that would be great. Yeah yeah yeah. I know I'm obsessed with adding changes to my story. Being like George Lucas adding changes to an already great story. But those changes actually are better and even more realistic. So instead of a George Lucas, I'm pulling a Zack Snyder!)

One Month Later

Late at night, while it was cold with snow around, at the warehouse where the horrible event and wonderful event took place, a hooded figure walked in the building. He walked in the very center of the over sized room. He looked at a part of the floor that was cracked like it was stabbed. He looked at the damaged wall that looked like something was smashed into it like a cartoon character. He looked at bullets on the ground that looked like they were sliced in half. And finally, he looked down at the floor at the very spot where a life was taken and given back.
He then felt something and spoke. (Nathan Kress' voice) "Don't think I don't know you're there!"
A voice from a catwalk attached to the ceiling spoke up. (Olivia Olson's voice) "Not surprising! From here, I can smell that you're not human."
"And I can sense that you're not human, either." He looked at a pile of wooden platforms. "That goes for you, too."
A voice came from the pile. (Bridget Mendler's voice) "What gave me away!?"
"Your scent. You hang out with animals that are very unnatural in the mortal realm."
"Well, I live in this realm, but I don't know if I'm human or not. I just use magic."
The hooded figure spoke up to both of the mysterious voices. "I can sense that both of you are not human. And I can also sense the reason why you're both here."
The voice in the big area spoke. "It's the word on the street in the mythical realm. A boy in the twenty first century falling in love with a unicorn, and becoming one. I'm curious if I should join that group. My brother's already in it."
The voice in the pile of platforms spoke. "I've been thinking about joining that group, too. My parents heard about the story and thought that it's time that I hang out with a group that has mortals."
"You might one day, I sense that they're going to make new friends in the future. And I can sense that some members of that group is not human and I can also sense that more than half of that group is kissing under mistletoe."
"Your species and your ability to sense emotions and thoughts!" The voice near the ceiling said.
"You want to hear about me talking about sensing? Well, just to let you know, there is a human outside with the intent of coming inside!" The three mysterious voices were then alarmed!
Outside, that said human walked towards the building. Once he was in the doorway, he saw three peculiar things.
The first was a bat that flew away. Sure, a bat in an old building was usual. But that bat flew away from the very center of the oversized room and that it was too cold for a bat to be around.
The second was the sound of large wings flapping, he turned his head to the source of the sound, it was a catwalk, part of it was covered in ice and mist was around it. Sure it was cold enough that ice and snow was everywhere and again this is an old building. But in a place that was close to a ceiling?
The third was the sound of pitter-patter. He looked to where the sound was. He caught a quick glimpse of it. It looked like a featherless bird with a long tail running outside.
He was wondering what they were, but returned his focus on the reason why he was there.
Like the hooded figure, he was interested in the event that recently happened.
He walked back to the van he'd driven in, opened the door, and reached over the driver seat to grab a phone on the passenger seat. Revealing a newspaper where the front page said: Believe Or Not, Serial Killer Caught Because Of Unicorn.
He placed the phone near his bearded face and spoke to the person on the other line. (Tommy Chong's voice) "Commence to phase two."

Max realized the last thing she said. "Well, it might be a long while since I make that choice, but I know what I want to be now." Iris was then curious about what he wanted to be now. "Since my theory was right, I could. . . be your . . . . . boyfriend?"
Iris was confused. "We. . . technically are a couple, and you know with your new magic that it was my kiss that brought you back to life."
"Exactly. What I'm saying is if we could kiss again to make this official. Considering I've been dead for our first kiss." Max realized something with his new ability. He counted with his fingers and corrected himself. "Our second kiss. And I have a crazy idea where it might be."
Iris with her magic understood what his idea of the place was. "Then we will have to sleep more and go there." She lied down, and seconds later, she fell asleep. Max witnessed the magic she used, later on, and tried to think of what she did. He hear her voice. "'First lesson: For instant sleep, just think about sleeping, and nothing else."' Max decided to do that, and amazingly, he fell asleep. Iris smiled in his sleep.

5 A.M., they were at the building where they were hours ago. Max stood outside, really hesitant to go inside.
Iris noticed. "Are you sure about this? This place could bring back some post traumatic stress."
"Scarlet tried to kiss Jason and he was shocked and he kinda blew it. And they had their first real kiss in the church. I feel like that this should be the place for our real first kiss." (AN~ I'm working on a remake of Jason and Scarlet's first kiss, longer and more dramatic)
Iris then agreed with him. "You're right, and you may have magic of your own, but with my magic, I can make you calm about the surroundings."
Max decided to let her manipulate his emotions and walked in the building. And because of Iris, he wasn't freaking out.
Max looked around the building and at his own hands. "It's hard to believe that just a few hours ago, I was human. And now, I'm a unicorn."
"I sense that you'll get used to it very soon." They walked to center of the building. They were preparing themselves for what they wanted to do for hours. She sensed that he was nervous. "Second lesson: To control your own emotions, think about being calm. And you will." Max decided to do that, and it worked.
He stood on the very spot where his life was changed, and despite him manipulating his own emotions, he was thinking about the man who had a big part of his life changing.
Iris noticed that he was nervous. "With my magic, I can sense that the man responsible for your trauma and your father is being laughed at by other criminals because of his name, and with an ice pack between his legs." Max smiled at her comment. "Are you ready to replace the horrible moment of this very spot with a wonderful memory?"
Max then figuratively and literally shook all the nervous feeling out of him and nodded.
Seconds later, they stared at each other, the leaned their heads forward. Max placed his hands on both bottom sides of her muzzle. She realized what she was doing and placed one of he front legs around his neck. They both pulled each other closer to each other and . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . they started kissing.

They were both feeling great emotions!
Max didn't know it, but if he was alive when he changed, this is what he would have been feeling!
Iris felt so many fantastic emotions, that her magic that was helping herself, was fading! Her invisible accessories were now visible, and if anyone was around them, they would freak out what with the shield thing being down!
And there were sparkles and auras of rainbows surrounding them! The streams of sparkles were acting like wind effecting their hair! And romantic music was being heard out of thin air!
After about three minutes of intensely romantic kissing, they finally broke apart. They looked in each others eyes. They were silent for half a minute, until Iris broke the silence.
"So, this is what it feels like." Max looked confused wondering what she said. "All these years of bringing couples together, I'm finally in a romantic relationship. With my magic, I knew what those emotions felt like, but now, I can officially feel it everyday!"
Max smiled, then he realized that her hair feather was visible. He looked down at her neck to prove a small theory he had and saw that her necklace was visible too.
She noticed. "I was so distracted by the kiss that my magic that's helping myself has faded. You're lucky that you're a unicorn, too. You would be overwhelmed by my beauty."
"I feel like I might be everyday." He held the metal unicorn heart in his hand. "My dad's idea of giving a girl a cheap necklace, he said it was how he got my mom in love with him. I had no idea that that girl I would be in love with was a unicorn. "
"But you might have known that the girl you fall in love with would be your best friend."
"I keep saying you're the best friend I've ever had."
"The reason why I don't constantly brag about my beauty like most unicorns, is to not annoy my friends. What say we head home and enjoy our first day as a couple?" She bounced her eyebrows to be flirty.
Max smiled nervously and tried be flirty too. "We may, have to skip church so we can spend time with each other."
"When you say spend time together, you mean with video games and movies and nothing explicit, right?" Max nodded, Iris smirked back. "And I suggest that we watch Jurassic World. Since your parents watched Jurassic Park on their first date."
"That's a great idea!" Max said.
Iris turned to her side, clearly wanting Max to mount her.
Max understood what she wanted. He then focused on his own body, and with his eyes glowing with sparkles, he started floating with sparkles surrounding him. He was like a superhero practicing his new flight ability. He steadily floated towards Iris trying very hard not to lunge into the ceiling like the magazine hours prior. He was then floating an inch above Iris. The sparkles then stopped and he was sitting on Iris.
Iris smiled as she was already a great teacher. She used her magic to cast her shield thing and her accessories became invisible. She then galloped away leaving the horrible place with a new great memory.
And both were imaging what the future would hold!
Epilogue
Well, that's how a story where a human is in love with a mythical creature goes. Yes, there are some with mermaids and vampires, but this is a unique story. As unique as a unicorn's single horn. Most good stories have an epilogue, and this one explains what happens to the characters.
As promised, Iris and Max answered the questions the group had. And every other of Max's classmates were wondering about his new appearance. Luckily, Iris knew a spell that can act as a projection movie on the pull down screen that can show those who are watching memories. And with the part where Max was being tortured, he obviously had to be in the hallway for that.
As predicted, Max became Dr. Phillip's favorite student. And because of Iris, people started to take a huge interest of mythology, and more students started signing up for the class next semester. Because of all the students, Dr. Phillip eventually became an actual official teacher.
Drake became the favorite volunteer firefighter of every fire station in a ten mile radius. He even starred in some commercials for several stations. And even became the mascot of one. That made him proud because the symbol of the kingdom he was born in was a dragon.
Angela started helping the police and FBI with cases. She was even helping the military with war strategies. And her favorite career, she was being paid by the government to test out new weapons.
Amy and Chayton even went on a few dates.
Bobby became an expert at Spanish, the best the school has seen, and even became a tutor. As long as they never know that he had help from a magic friend to cheat. But he did it for love, dagnabbit!
And since María told him her secret, he decided that to share his secret that he was into cars and vehicles. And since Bobby told it to everyone, she told everyone her secret. Just as long as she never knows that they already know.
McKenzie and Trent became brave enough to take jewelry class.
María joined the cheer leading squad and was amazing despite her legs.
Just a few weeks after meeting Iris, McKenzie's vlog got the incredible amount of subscribers due to having a real unicorn and dragon. Giving her the popularity her past spoiled self always wanted.
Frank was expelled from school, much to Sammi's enjoyment.
McKenzie's parents adopted the little girl who's parents were killed by Thilker. They decided to adopted a foreign child considering that she was from India. Along with that, her birth parents owned an Indian restaurant, so to make her very comfortable, Adrian bought the restaurant.
Drake and Angela went on a few dates. The shooting range, meals at fire stations, and saving people from burning buildings. For their species, those are considered romantic. Their romance may seem rushed to you, but they have known each other for about two hundred and thirty years, they were best friends, now, they're lovers.
Chelsea and Jackie eventually announced their feelings for each other to their friends and families. And because of Iris, they were all completely okay with it.
Phil and Sherri eventually announced their news to everyone.
Jason and Scarlet became the healthiest couple of the group. They hardly argued and they did their best not to upset each other and cheer each other up when either one is upset, and, in the future, with the help of Iris, Scarlet kept the raging hormones of her pregnancies at bay to keep Jason in love with her. Scarlet even got baptized to be closer to him. Despite the fact that she normally prays to a goddess of animals and nature. Scarlet started working as a custodian at Faust Elementary, despite the fact that she is very disturbed by the mascot. She even bought herself her own tablet. And Jason eventually was ready for that kind of snuggle.
Thrilker was given a life sentence and didn't escape prison. And he became so annoyed with all the mocking, he started going by Karl Mech again.
Carrie gave birth to her third son, and about Derrick, given Larry's blessing, they went on more dates, and eventually, he proposed! As Iris predicted, he was a great stepfather.
As Angela swore, she got Penny to go to church. And Angela, with the money she made from the government, she bought a pet carrier purse. Penny enjoyed it what with it not being crowded by weapons.
And Max and Iris? Well, they had became the best couple that she had brought together. Max is technically a unicorn, but his body was in the shape of a human. But he had everything a unicorn has. Silver blood, sleep and eating by choice, and magic! Iris became his teacher with magic. Normally, unicorns Max's age are in magic school, but Iris easily taught him everything she knew and she even taught herself about new spells and magic. And as he promised to the queen, Max made more friends and he had fun with his very long life.
When Max became a full unicorn eighty five years later, they were a normal unicorn couple. Just like Iris' parents, she and Max were living in Midvale helping the people with problems.
And how I am explaining things like this, you'd think that this is the end of the story. But this is just the beginning to many adventures. This story proves that just one friend can make a difference in your life. If you were a fan of unicorns when you were a kid, you were probably-
"Hey Josh!" I heard an agitated voice. Nate then came in the room. "I've got a bone to pick with you! All of my friends have love interests! My own sister has one! Everyone has one but me!!"
Just, calm down! You'll get your own in the sequel.
"Oh! Really?" He looked calm. "Well that's a relief! I need my own Flora."
You know, I really regret making you a web comic fan. And I thought I changed every web comic reference you said!
"Oh, sorry, I need my own, cliche love interest? Better?"
Yeah, actually.
"You know, with web comics, I did foreshadow Max and Iris. An animal and human being in love."
Didn't Rocket Racoon have humanoid girlfriends?
"Yeah, he did, and Howard the Duck."
See? Being a normal comic book fan is better! You say references most people will under stand.
"You should see my brother, the guy is like a huge comic book nerd! He's read so many comic books, I'm mostly interested in movies and animated shows. He doesn't come to our school, he goes to a school for geniuses, 'cause he's really smart.
Then Deadpool walked in. "Hey man, I may be a terrible role model, but what have I taught kids?"
Nate answered. "Super hero landings are bad for your knees?"
"No, but that's good too. It's 'leave the fourth wall breaking to the professionals!"
"Oh right. Sorry. I know it's like one of your best super powers."
If I may continue, please!?!
"Oh, right. Sorry. I'll let you finish. You've only been working on that for about a year and a half." Nate left the room.
Deadpool turned to me. "I'm proud of you man. You did not stop in the middle. You worked hard for this story. And I can tell that you want an animatic movie on YouTube to happen. Let's hope it happens. Unlike my own cartoon that was &%$@ing canceled before it was even out! Love your story. Watch my movies when you have the chance." He walked out of the room while pounding in chest and giving a peace sign and the forth wall breaking moment was finally over.
Anyway, as I was saying. If you were a fan of unicorns when you were a kid or still a fan of unicorns, you were probably feeling joy to know what it was like living with a unicorn.
Iris has gone by many names. Lilly, Buttercup, Bindii, Dalia, and Rose. But the name she spent the most time being called by, was Iris. Due to the fact that her main friend hadn't died for a very long time. Which ment she was right. Max died at the right old age of 3037 and Iris died at the age of 3537. Meaning they both spent their last moments together. They loved each other so much, that their wedding eventually happened sooner than you thought, but that's another story. Iris' magic to bring couples together was so incredible and she was so talented, that her daughters and sons were just as talented. Again, that's another story.
Iris made the lives of everyone in the group better, that's the main reason why the group stayed together for years, even after high school graduation. And after this story, she brought more friend into Max's life and brought more couples together.
Iris enjoys bringing friends together and loves having friends. That's the main reason why she gave Max so many friends, to let him know how much joy so many friends can give someone. After all the joy she got from bringing couples together, she now has the joy of having a boyfriend of her own. She was the friend of many, but her friendship that lasted the longest, was her friendship with Max. She wasn't just his friend, she was his lover! And not just that, she was, a Mythical Lover
(AN~ I'm treating this like a movie. So this has closing credits. I'm basing this off the end credits of the first Avengers movie, with the actors names and beneath them, items that describe them. Remember, these actors didn't actually voice them, the characters just sound and/or look like them. Also, I've changed some of the voices of the characters and added voices of characters. For the items, it will be obvious about the characters, for those that might be difficult, Kurt Russel as Jason's dad, Yuri Lowenthal as Jason's brother, Jim Cummings as the fake cowboy boss, Cedric The Entertainer as Officer Jones, Maria Canals as María's mother, Amy Sedaris as Bobby's mother, Clair Colette as Pheobe, and Landry Bender as Jason's sister. I'm adding changes to every chapter, so if you can reread the chapters you already read, that would be great. Yeah yeah yeah. I know I'm obsessed with adding changes to my story. Being like George Lucas adding changes to an already great story. But those changes actually are better and even more realistic. So instead of a George Lucas, I'm pulling a Zack Snyder!)

One Month Later

Late at night, while it was cold with snow around, at the warehouse where the horrible event and wonderful event took place, a hooded figure walked in the building. He walked in the very center of the over sized room. He looked at a part of the floor that was cracked like it was stabbed. He looked at the damaged wall that looked like something was smashed into it like a cartoon character. He looked at bullets on the ground that looked like they were sliced in half. And finally, he looked down at the floor at the very spot where a life was taken and given back.
He then felt something and spoke. (Nathan Kress' voice) "Don't think I don't know you're there!"
A voice from a catwalk attached to the ceiling spoke up. (Olivia Olson's voice) "Not surprising! From here, I can smell that you're not human."
"And I can sense that you're not human, either." He looked at a pile of wooden platforms. "That goes for you, too."
A voice came from the pile. (Bridget Mendler's voice) "What gave me away!?"
"Your scent. You hang out with animals that are very unnatural in the mortal realm."
"Well, I live in this realm, but I don't know if I'm human or not. I just use magic."
The hooded figure spoke up to both of the mysterious voices. "I can sense that both of you are not human. And I can also sense the reason why you're both here."
The voice in the big area spoke. "It's the word on the street in the mythical realm. A boy in the twenty first century falling in love with a unicorn, and becoming one. I'm curious if I should join that group. My brother's already in it."
The voice in the pile of platforms spoke. "I've been thinking about joining that group, too. My parents heard about the story and thought that it's time that I hang out with a group that has mortals."
"You might one day, I sense that they're going to make new friends in the future. And I can sense that some members of that group is not human and I can also sense that more than half of that group is kissing under mistletoe."
"Your species and your ability to sense emotions and thoughts!" The voice near the ceiling said.
"You want to hear about me talking about sensing? Well, just to let you know, there is a human outside with the intent of coming inside!" The three mysterious voices were then alarmed!
Outside, that said human walked towards the building. Once he was in the doorway, he saw three peculiar things.
The first was a bat that flew away. Sure, a bat in an old building was usual. But that bat flew away from the very center of the oversized room and that it was too cold for a bat to be around.
The second was the sound of large wings flapping, he turned his head to the source of the sound, it was a catwalk, part of it was covered in ice and mist was around it. Sure it was cold enough that ice and snow was everywhere and again this is an old building. But in a place that was close to a ceiling?
The third was the sound of pitter-patter. He looked to where the sound was. He caught a quick glimpse of it. It looked like a featherless bird with a long tail running outside.
He was wondering what they were, but returned his focus on the reason why he was there.
Like the hooded figure, he was interested in the event that recently happened.
He walked back to the van he'd driven in, opened the door, and reached over the driver seat to grab a phone on the passenger seat. Revealing a newspaper where the front page said: Believe Or Not, Serial Killer Caught Because Of Unicorn.
He placed the phone near his bearded face and spoke to the person on the other line. (Tommy Chong's voice) "Commence to phase two."
