Tanner wasn’t exactly sure what to make of the human, paying him to develop shrinking technology. At first the warforged artificer was apprehensive – such tech could be really dangerous in the wrong hands – but much to his surprise the human didn’t want to use the shrink ray himself, he wanted Tanner to use it on him.

Tanner warned Markus about the dangers of it extensively, about the fact that he’d be stuck until and unless a counter-measure was developed too. But the human didn’t seem disturbed by the concept of being stuck like that potentially forever, instead he offered Tanner an extra fee for keeping him safe, which Tanner gladly accepted.

It didn’t take long after that for Tanner to figure out why the human seemed so eager…

"Really, Markus?" The looming warforged scoffed. "My feet? of all the pairs you could’a fawned over ye choose mine? These flat titanium-polymer things?" He shook his head, sliding a foot forward and gingerly placing it just above the quivering little mess of a human. “Suppose that’s what ye paid me ta do tho’ so…”

A single careless shrug was given as Tanner slowly lowered his sole down, his big toe placing itself over Markus’ puny frame with just enough pressure to keep the guy moaning and begging for more.

“Well… Hope it’s what ya wanted, wee man! Cuz that’s pretty much what yer whole life with me’s gonna be.”
