Mama Cassie has made a HUGE spread for the reception party. A classic wedding cake, strawberry of course, as well as a number of delectibe treats all prepared by Kate's mum, the chef herself! Plenty for everyone be they large or small.
The newlyweds face each other and are given the knife by Cassie.
"Well, they're waiting luv." smiles Kate. "And I can smell those strawberries from here!"
"Together then." nods Dave.
They hold the knife together and cut the first slice. Of course they share that slice in the classic way by trying to mush it in each other's muzzles.
Kinda reminds Kate of that food fight she started when she was 8.
