Urulai has couple of times been curious about seeing my take on his synthetic lifeform of an entity Grandiose. While I often don't do such creatures or dabble with beings that are, well... "nearly faceless humanoids", I think I've sort of grown comfortable around him and his character enough to give it a go - a good friend he is, after all.One of the quarrels we end up having in a lighthearted way is often the topic of "growing beings causing destruction": I'm not much of a fan of the concept even if I do enjoy the ludicrousness of endless hyper muscle growth, whereas Grandiose is entirely based on how he can keep growing and absorbing pretty much any planetary formation, while providing what could essentially be considered a "synthetic dimension" for any beings to live in, meaning that he could just assimilate any planet, but keep the people safe within his all-reality defying frame and give them a life that simulates the planet's atmosphere picture perfectly (or somewhere within those lines, please correct me if I'm wrong here, Uru.) I'm not admittedly a big fan of destroying things to begin with, so it does irk me a bit.... but fictional fantasy is fictional fantasy.
This doodle was also made during the aformentioned two-week period in the early May.
