Bio: Kai was always trained to fight, to honor her family and stick to the tenements that ruled her society; Honor, Tenacity, Loyalty. Instilled in every Mangiese as soon as they enter the schooling system, these tenants are reminded to them every day as they are trained up to become some of the galaxies finest warriors, ready to defend their Empires territories, or the lands of those that have been able to court the favor of the ruling families.

Many Mangiese are content to serve their Empire, looking down at the other species for their lack of prowess and honor, with their ever cancerous influence slowly seeping into the rungs of Mangiese society, eroding the institutions that have ruled them for generations. Chief among these negative influences, are the humans, small creatures that can barely reach the ankles of most species, let alone the Mangiese, who constantly call for the liberalization of society and the ever constant progress of democracy, something that the ruling families despise. So humanity found itself constantly at odds with the Mangiese, and the youth began to be taught the errors of the "bugs", how they would destroy the Mangiese identity if they were able to, and how the honorable Mangiese would stand by their traditions till the very end.

Kai didn't believe them. Even when she was young, the aspect of even having a species out there that small filled her with wonder, and an ever increasing sense of curiosity of what lay beyond the boundary's of her homeland. As she grew older, and notably bigger than most, Kai found her sense of adventure grow ever larger, and finally, once she reached adulthood and passed the final stage of her education, the Ke'sai, a battle with a soldier from the guard of the Emperor himself, she prepared to leave.

Her family however, resisted, calling for her to remain and serve the Empire and to throw any foolish sense's of leaving away. Yet Kai was stubborn, and waited until her family let their guard down, and in the middle of the night, took her families Katana and left on a small ship headed to coalition space. In almost no time, she found herself work as a bounty hunter for one of the many bounty hunter guilds deep in the coalitions territory, with well trained Mangiese in high demand.

She soon hopes to finally meet a proper human in person (and not one she has to capture due to a bounty) and finally begin to make a proper life for herself, far from the influence of her family and the state, one where she can co-exist with humanity in peace.



Ok and there is a brief (And hopefully not completely awful) bio for Kai, hope you enjoyed! This is the third and final version of the Kai ref's and obviously here  kialra did a simply fantastic job (He even made a sweet little bounty hunter logo on Kai's shoulder :D )and I think at this point he deserves all the love and more for his work, thanks a million man!!! I owe you one! Will always recommend him for art!
