(Apparently I never wrote a blurb for this Star Hunter "novel", so here's one I've come up with since then.)
Enoch was a deep space prospector, so being a bit loopy was expected. And he had a history of the occasional big find. But during his latest (and last) hospital stay after returning to civilization, he said something that was not expected.
"A ruby as big as my head."
Those words set off a mad scramble as everyone began searching for a dying man's miracle find. There were treasure hunters, con artists, scientists, prospectors -- and pirates. And where there were pirates, you could expect Star Hunters...
