The desert around Mt Stovepipe is known for it's valuable mineral deposits and sometimes these deposits can lead to armed conflicts in the area. The desert is also known to harbor some secret military hardware - none of which was in possession of tank driver and armaldo Druss, along with his gunner/loader scolipede Captain Molo!
Druss and Molo are a part of the 17th armored patrol squadron, responsible for general safety and peacekeeping on the vast sand dunes. On one fateful day they left the eastern resupply checkpoint only to be called back due to reports of a large unknown pokemon in the area. Both of them were not prepared for what they came back to...
While everything seemed normal by the checkpoint at first, a massive dark sandy-coloured pokemon of unknown origin fell from the sky. The initial shockwave and body slam took out a resupply bunker, a nearby APC, and patrol car, as well as various equipment and other loose supplies...
...
They collect 'stickers'.
Stickers are the result of the massive waist that looms on the monster. It's glowing eye runes resemble a pair of glasses, and once someone or something is unfortunate enough to become an impromptu textile plastered to the wispy padding of this angry celestial, they are removed and placed in a tome. The tome is closed, and the victims become stickers.
It keeps a well-organized collection... 'The Failures of Autonomous Design'. Things unable to hold up to the weight of the universe. Perhaps they search for something that can give them better rest to reflect on their collection with. So far nothing has held. It all breaks the same. A constant like time.
Yet, everything that breaks is archived anyway - if time will destroy it eventually, why not play with it for keeps? It is safe in the stickerbook. It is safe inside of them. The tome is another world!
Inside time flows isolated, and entropy is static. A world of autonomous designs once at the mercy of infinity, now stuck away in the chapters of a stickerbook. A book kept safe under a warm moon.
It raises the moon just a bit higher, so The Author may rest on their desk more comfortably. For it is the tome they desired to be seated upon the whole time! To make the process of new stickerbooks more comfortable! Stickerbooks full of flimsy designs that couldn't take a little bit of nerd weight...
