Legend of Ahya : Target of Interest Preorder!
It's finally time! Taylor's first book in her series - Legend of Ahya: Target of Interest is available for preorder! The official release date and when it'll be printed and shipped to you via either mail or electronic device is July 8, 2021! At long last, my book series can begin and everyone can join the journey with me in bringing Taylor and Ahya to life and discovering the world that they live in! Although the demographic is aimed at a 'furry' audience, I did not write it as such and instead focused on just making a good story with deep lore that'll come out in subsequent novels. You can go through Amazon's KDP program, or Smashwords if you want to stick with Ebook only, or even Ingramspark for a bit of a broader reach with more book format options. Self-publishing, you don't need to sign up for much at all and you own all copyrights since you're both the author and technically the 'publisher.' I wish you luck with your stories!
Wow. You even got a Barnes & Noble deal out of this, as in they're going to be carrying your book in stores, or just online? I don't know too much about the novel industry, but I know most people self-publish. The fact that buying it through Barnes & Nobel is an option makes me think you got an actual publishing deal?
I looked into the cost of an Audible and to quote google: "How much does it cost to make an audiobook? An average audiobook created that has about 50,000 words can cost between $1,000 and $2,000." Book 1 is around 142,000 words. So more money than I can afford to spare right now. Given how much income I'm getting from the current book sales, it doesn't look like I'll be able to afford audio for any books in this series anytime soon. The returns don't justify it at this time.
