Paid for art commission from Frank Parr. Miki Saegusa with a new young Godzillasaur named Godzookie,the winged flying Godzillasaur.
Yep,still remembered that old goofy Hanna Barbara Godzilla cartoon,and wanted Frank to draw a newer Toho Godzilla series style design of Godzookie.

I had a mixed opinion of that 1978 show. Liked the new monsters and the Dinosaur like Godzilla ( I'd rather have a Dinosaur-like Godzilla than TriStar Iguana-like phony ) but I hated the overly goofy Godzookie and doofus Calico crew.
Unfortunately Toho has never made a manga/anime Godzilla animated series. If another Godzilla cartoon series would ever be made,it should be made based on the Toho Studios Japanese Godzilla series,with new stories,new characters and monsters.
