The glasses, are based on a gift my little brother gave me, when I was struggling and couldn't afford my own. So he spend hundreds of dollars, just to get me a nice looking, durable pair.

Where as the Scarf, you might recognize as the 4th Doctor's From Doctor Who... this... actually holds a lot more sentimental value, as my step mom, got me into the show when I was a kid. And we would watch it together... and she recently passed. So the scarf is me honoring my step mother, as my interactions with her were some of the rare few good memories I have of my childhood.
