I admit, I had to look up what catharsis meant.
that now known, I can only imagine the sort of things going on in this image. I find the face frightening, like something out of a nightmare. I love love love the fox's expression and how his face sort of darkens in his furor. The clashing word reminds me of fire, which makes me think of the idea of baptism through fire. The composition is PERFECT.

I admit, I like this burst of color we can now see in your gallery. It stands out nicely from all your soft values and earth tones. :3

When i saw the thumbnail, i thought the background was a map with roads and names on it. Powerful, disturbed feeling in this one. Your foxes are never happy, are they? (Just kidding!)
