Darius and Te'o might be old but they're certainly both extremely dangerous and definitely villainous characters so they would be deserving of getting blasted. I imagine it will be nonlethal if rather painful and that they won't be getting back up again for a while. Considering how angry Darius looks, I would be worried for the safety of whomever zapped him.
I wonder if Tir might have had a part in taking them down, another very old character but definitely heroic.
