Holy shit I just looked that up, before I'd only seen the Mewtwo fetus monster as I'd never made it through Earthbound. All I did was take a blob of red and start smudging faces out of it, as many as I could each melding into the other to create another as the perspective changes. My inspiration was the cover for Ultimate Doom but I see originality is truly dead along with the horror.
