Happy Pride!

It seems Sakara has gotten himself a gift from  Yonell_flow, or as he's better known: The stranger who comes from the sky. Definitely not working on a story about that for fun, I swear.

No story for this one, though I may write something for Pride at a later date. Instead, I have a few words that may come off as pretentious, but oh well.

We must remember that queer is nothing new. The folks who fall under the umbrella of LGBTQ+ have lived and loved on this Earth for as long as anyone else. As long as we have been capable of loving, even. And in spite of adversity great and small we have, and always will, fight to be treated with dignity, and not as some passing fad.

Sakara is certainly proud of who he is. Though, I have no idea where he got the correct dyes for that, especially for animal hide. Regardless! Be proud of who you are. You aren't weird or a freak, you're as natural as anyone else. People like you have existed for countless eons alongside everyone else, no matter what vitriol a few loud individuals may spout. Take some joy knowing our distant ancestors would have loved as we do, together with lovers of the same sex by the warm fire, holding each other tight, caring for each other until their last breaths.
