Well, I noted and showed him my stellar foxtaur pics. He loved them and asked if I'd planned to draw Starwalkers next as they'd be the stars of this story. I replied that in fact they'd be the next ones I'd do (I just had no idea where or how I'd do it since they are more spacefaring and it was easy to place the others). So he suggested one entering an airlock.

I took inspiration from the airlock scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey where Dave enters through an airlock to get to HAL's databanks. The airlock is simple and can be opened from the outside via a wheel (sometimes you have to have keep things simple because in emergencies, technology can let you down). It also doesn't look like it, but the floor is lower and allows them to stand at full height inside. The door itself is just smaller.

So with that in mind, I drew this. They are supposed to be without suits as the Voxxan pirates have pushed them out, thinking they'll just die. (Little do they know, these guys are actually adapted for this sort of thing :P) This one is looking particularly determined and will mete out just revenge on the offending pirates.

I'm quite pleased with it. A few minor points but overall I'm very happy with this. New technique of colouring space (adding blue and purple hues) to distinguish it from the black of the Starwalker. Also, the stars are taken from Bruton's picture of Aster falling into space since I loved how she did them.
