As some of you already know, 
swiftwind is a bald eagle who (through no wish of his own, mind you) is constantly getting his feathers blown off, plucked, shaved or otherwise removed, leaving him bald all over like a newborn eaglet.
Last weekend was Swiftwind's birthday, and he received a few "presents" that left him featherless as usual. Although eagles and weasels are supposed to be natural enemies, Shadow couldn't help feeling sorry for the hapless Swifty, and has designed something for him to wear while he's waiting for his plumage to grow back.

Awwww. Thank you so much for the birthday picture, Tracy! I really enjoyed it! The picture made me giggle and laugh! Poor, poor Swiftwind! Forced to wear a barrel while Shadow painted a feathered-eagle outline on top of the barrel to make him look more "feather-like" in appearance. Squaaaaaawk!

I enjoyed reading the commentary and description of the picture. And I loved how Shadow was playing the "helpful weasel" in giving back some of Swiftwind's dignity during this time of crisis and need!
