A draconic warrior that dukes it out with his talons and teeth that is a prideful member of the fighter's guild. His love for fighting is balanced with frequent bouts of laziness and hunger. He has a deep love of bombarding people he meets with draconic codes, regulations, and philososphy... but truth be told he makes most of such up on the spot just to justify any actions and collateral damage he may cause. He thinks himself as a heavenly gift to the world and isn't afraid to flaunt his supposed 'greatness'. He has a certain weakness for female canines and is very quick to agree with them in conversation. He's also got a deep-seated hatred in demonic eggplants, and thus will often go on a crusade to destroy eggplants in the vicinity. Suffice to say he's been banned and blacklisted from most local farmer's markets.
Moves:
Combo 1:
1. Right Swipe - Swipes with his right hand's talons.
2. Left Rake- Follows up with a quick raking from his left hand's talons.
3. Headbutt! - He headbutts his opponent, skewering them with his middle horn. A man isn't a man unless he headbutts people, often remakes Vincent.
Combo 2:
1. Quick Jab - Swings his left fist into an opponent's gut.
2. Sucker Punch - Adds insult to injury with a quick sucker punch to the face.
3. Dragon Tail - Twists around quickly and hits the opponent with his tail.
Glistening Teeth - Flashes his shiny teeth to mesmerize and stun opponents.
Flaming Breath - He slips into a fabulous position and breathes out of cone of fire. Really adds some flare to situations!
Boastful Pose - He strikes a pose and boasts of how great he is, increasing his Attack Power. Unfortunately, his defense falls to 0. May stun opponents and cause them to oggle his body.
Equipment:
Draconic Shorts - Shorts for a dragon. They are actually for show and offer no defense other than simple modesty. Why a guy would wear this into battle is beyond the advice of the wisest of scholars and advisers, though many propose suicidal tendencies and lacking of certain departments in areas of the brain account for this.
Rating: 7 out of 10.
One of the better teammates you can get for your team. Even with the lack of clothes he tends to be able to handle his own with just his simple combos. Unfortunately, due to how close range his moves are (minus the fire breath), he can be very problematic to utilize during battles against small agile opponents. Use him in the beginning of the game... but switch him out once you get one of the better recruitables in the fighter's guild.
Volty Attack:
Pride of the Dragon - Vincent unleashes his pent up anger and goes all out on the opponent with kicks, punches, slashes, evicerations, and bites, before ending with a massive fireball.
How to Recruit:
He's recruitable once you gain the ability to recruit friends to join your party. Merely challenge him to a duel and he'll join after you beat him. During the fight stick to using a spear or merely tossing items to poison him and run around while the poison whittles away at his HP. Becareful not to hit him to many times though with your melee attacks, or he'll be able to unleash his special attack which can easily wipe you out on earlier levels!
Special notes:
He's one of the few initially non-story related teammates that actually will have a part in one of story pathways. If you go choose the Rebellion pathway and have recruited him beforehand he'll actually become an integral part to the story, as well gain the added bonus of armour and actual weapons. With this gear and new move set he actually becomes a 9 out of 10 and easily one of the better characters for that path.
I got bored. Not as entertaining as the deer one but still was a bit fun to think up some stuff. Making up RPG stuff is something I sometimes like to do when I'm bored~ Vincent would be one of those guys you recruit early on that's competent... but easily replaced by someone that has, ya know, actual good melee moves, melee weapons, or maybe a firearm. :p
An old pic I had gotten and accidentally removed awhile ago while fiddling with my account. This was actually the first character of mine I ever got commissioned work of. :D I was gonna get one of my snake... but changed my mind due to some suggestions. Pic was by

Yeah. Added equipment cuz me and
doe started talking about Disgaea's descriptions of equipment. May try working up some random character stuff with her for fun. :p I used Radiata's format since I found it's system, though clunky, sorta easy to handle when writing out move descriptions. XD

Some of the descriptions in Radiata Stories didn't fully explain the general range of some characters' moves, though.
Funny you mention Disgaea. I got Phantom Brave a few weeks ago and it also uses these really wiseass comments for equipment. Like: "A flower. What were you expecting?" XD

I know. :D I just use it's format cuz I liked it... truth be told I actually never paid attention to my team in the game...even during the final fight and versus the Ethereal Queen I sorta never really kept track of my teammates or what they were doing. XD Course, I'm used to FPSes... so that genre taught me that your NPC teammates were generally not very useful... so I just transferred that onto the Radiata Stories teammates. XD Cuz, really, usually it ended up with you doing most of the work.
And yep! Phantom Brave made me sad near the end. If you beat it... did you notice that cool easter egg on Soul Nomad (Good path... or guess the normal path since you can't play the evil path until you beat the game.)? When I saw it I was like... "Oh my God!" XD

Well, Jack isn't as powerful as some of the S-ranked NPCs mind you. Elwyn and Lenneth top him completely and neither of them take nearly as much damage as Jack can from the Queen. In fact, a lot of people recommend keeping Jack out of her range and letting S-rank allies handle it because they don't get knocked down as easily as he can.
I'm nowhere near beating it yet. I recently acquired my first Dragon recruit and now I'm working on getting a Lizardman, so no spoilers please.

Ah, I see. I'll hafta remember that. XD
Also, play Soul Nomad after you beat Phantom Brave. Doesn't take place in the same world, of course, just like all the other Nippon Ichi games. But there's something you'll appreciate in it a lot more only if you've played Phantom Brave. (Doesn't spoil anything of course.)

Oh God I hated that move. 3-4 hours. Lost. I so pumped up his health just to survive that and tried keeping it up with health regain and other items just to not die.
Aye, it's by Nippon Ichi. Instead of controlling individual characters you control several teams. (Which can have up to 9 characters in them.) And like Ogre Battle, where they are positioned determines what moves they can use. (I think that's what Ogre Battle did.) If you place healers in the back, they can heal everyone on the team, but for a less amount. If you place 'em in the middle or front, they can heal one person for his maximum. It's pretty fun and you actually get some anthros on your team. (Beefy minotaur guys.)
It's actually a big longer than most Nippon games. Also darker in a few areas. Still has some childish humor in it too of course to lighten things up. I'd highly recommend getting it after Phantom Brave. (Only problem you may have with it is that you actually can't change equipment/armour, but you can equip special 'buffs' to your team... such as if they are on a city square their stats are increased by 50 percent. Or they always attack first/last.)

Aye, other than that you have a human/minotaur hybrid... which is merely a human with horns.. a mermaid race, a slightly draconic race (Sorta look like the one race from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, the one with armour and beak things... not really to attractrive), a small angelic race (who utilize guns), and... uh, the usual monsters. :p
It is a bit more strategy related... such as, usually you'll have 'main' or 'special' characters as leaders of groups because they give a better bonus (whereas other NPCs that aren't 'unique' are better suited as teammates.) Gamewise, I still think the story is pretty good. Definitely more serious than Disgaea. After you beat the game, you can start it over and play the 'evil' pathway (which branches out before the first fight.... which is actually pretty... uh, dark. XD Like, you'll get serial killers and crazy people on your team.

Sorta. I'd still say give it a try. You still get the classic 'item world'... but it's called "Gig's World" or something. Going further into the dungeon lets you have more 'teammates' in a team. (Initially, you an only have 3-4... but if you go deeper and deeper into the "team's" dungeon... you gain the ability to have more teammates.
Well, teammates as in more room to place people. XD You can still create teammates through Mana and stuff... just, you only have so much spaces for 'em on a team. (Like a battle may let you place 8 teams down... and those teams may be comprised of 4-9 teammates each.)
Also, fight scenes are more like Yggdra Union and La Pucelle Tactices when you fight an enemy, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DM1e-ZEhfCo
