Hi. I'm Paul, but my chosen nickname is Shifter (maybe one day I'll be Shifter-Eternal on here), and I'm a bi guy. I know I don't really show it here, but I am. I don't normally post about it because it feels like a normal thing for me, but this month each year I try to make it known and clear who I am. Not to rub it in, but because there's still places in this world that would jail me, or even put me to death, just for being who I am. There's still places that hold great prejudice, and even in my own local community and family there's those who firmly believe that my being me is wrong. The world is so much better, but there's still work to be done.
So yeah, I don't post this as an in-your-face bullshit trend, I post this so that the world knows I exist, in spite of hate. And maybe one day, that won't have to be the case.
Have a good day/night, and remember to support your lgbtqia+ friends/family. Really, just be a decent human being.
