A little fetish/totem I carved back in 2007. It's about 4 inches tall. Carved from white basswood, stained, glowified with acrylic, and finished with bowling alley wax. It is a sculpture-in-the-round, and the back is a full moon while the front is a crescent.

The glow is not retouched, and really does throw light like that. There is also a small carved loop under the backside of the cat's tail to attach strings of beads or feathers or whathaveyou.

The idea was to have something to focus on while I tried to fall asleep, as I have insomnia and tend to just stare at the ceiling all night. Also I love it when cats are so deeply asleep that they don't have faces <3
