After bringing in the Mastermind for his crimes and his mental breakdown that led to him apologizing to all of his friends for how he treated them during the Avenger persona. He decided for his safety and to redeem himself, he joined the PHL and PROs along with upgrading his Avenger suit to become the Vineslinger 2.0 suit. But he decided to visit the headquarters to get his bearings however a familiar voice caught his attention.
"Hey! Are you a new villain here? You seem lost," said the voice as Stryker turned around and saw Dusk Penumbra/Dante the Zorua, a friend he made early on in his career. He was there to take his place at his graduation as he slept in after the death of his parents and at one point during the Avenger period, knocked him out and stole his identity for one night so that he doesn't ruin his own reputation.
"Whoa whoa, Dante it's me!" replied Stryker lifting his arm, opened up his gauntlet and pressed a button to open up his helmet revealing his smiling face.
"S-Stryker? Wow...I didn't recognize you under the suit, you really look more like a villain in that get up," said Dante happy to see his friend smiling again.
"Well, things change, I grew up from my old look and like the armored look I had..."replied Stryker,"but I am sorry for how I was hostile to you, I just...was so angry and I wasn't thinking straight".
"Hey," said Dante putting his arm around his shoulder," as long as you are alright, I'm fine, come on, lets catch up".
Stryker looked at Dante and smiled while Dante did the same as they walked down the corridor.
