These model sheets are all well and good, but what about the character? What about personality? Do you have links to more information about the character?
I'm not sure what your goal is with these model sheets. Do you have plans for this character, or is this just a portfolio piece for future work as a character modeler?
When I see these model sheets, I see a potential costume, as a costume maker. But I wouldn't touch this without knowing what the personality was. Your model sheets are like circuit diagrams for a device. And just as circuit diagrams tell me how to make the device, but do not tell me what the device does; neither do your model sheets provide any insight into the character's personality, who he is. As a costume maker, I would refuse this project because I am an artist, not an engineer. This is a project for a professional maker who uses existing specifications, not an artist; such as the people who make character costumes for Disney for example.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a critique. I'm trying to discover the nature of these pieces. And yes, I understand that you are a French speaker, et mon Francais ne pas bon, si je parle Englais. Well, okay so I write it, but you get the idea. I'm also trying to relate something about costume making, if your ultimate goal is to have a Titash costume made. But these kinds of characters, this kind of detail, is exactly what I'd like to see out of the fandom. But pretty pages of model sheets, colors, poses, etc. do not make a character. Would I accept a commission to make a Titash costume, or a similar costume of a well-designed and modeled character? Without knowing the personality, absolutely not. With a personality, and requirements of completing it to specifications exactly as modeled? Not me - I'd defer it to someone who was an costume engineer, not a costume artist as I am. The fact is I am not good enough, and I prefer it that way. While my idea is for a fandom that can produce these characters (with personality), I would also like to see a fandom where craftsmanship and artistry can produce abstractions, where characters aren't designed to such tight visual specifications; but are created and brought to life both by the costume artist, and the performer.
These are awesome model sheets. The artwork is splendid. If you have a character in Titash, please give us more, and if there is more and I haven't yet discovered it (scanned a couple pages of your gallery), then direct me to it. I am most interested.
