(Oh wow that thumbnail is small. FA why? Here's a better look)
Life will continue. It may take strange paths, with odd people along the way, but the road goes ever onward. It is up to us to rise above the path laid out, to take flight and soar to heights that even life could not imagine.

This chapter has TF in it! We can't have it happen all the time, but it's best to end on a change, yeah?
Mood Music!
It's Going To Be Alright
Brave New World
Definitely recommend the music in this one. Divine is a rare track that needs more love, and is a great piece of just "you're gonna be okay". Brave New World would basically be the Treehouse theme song, and the vocals are lovely.
Cheekily, I would add THE MOON to Gremmy's Amazing Dreamspace Adventure, but it's a short part of the chapter and breaks the feel of the piece. It's still very good. You can imagine it being Gremmy's theme song. He's gonna be the best at space. Whoooooosh.
So what happens from here?
As you can see from the thumbnail, we're very close to having the cover art done! I figured it was better to let you have the final chapter though, and we'll have the cover for the full book release.
I'm currently putting in edits when I can. Job searching has mercifully been far more fruitful these last few weeks(with a 2 hour closing interview tomorrow, fingers crossed), so that kinda crimps things. The edits have already been planned, they just need to be done. It's mostly early chapter stuff, bringing it in line with the quality of the later parts.
When the book is done, it will be available on itch.io for $5, and a recommended value of $10. The serial uploads here will remain, but the glorious edited version(and the feeling of having supported a writer who's work you enjoyed) is where it's really at.
Aside from that, there will be an RPG Interlude on how the various biomes of the story would convert into dungeons to explore, and then an RPG Postgame! It will cover bits of the setting that don't quite flow well in a book, but follow after the end chapter here. Glorious worldbuilding.
Those will be free, linked alongside the book and the character dossier.
There will also be a free small document which is basically links to all the mood music that's been posted here. Listen while you read! Enjoy the cool vibes.
I have a vague notion of how Perchance 2 will go! The first chapter, at the very least, is solid in my mind. I do not expect to start on that anytime soon, because jobs. If I get the nice job, that means moving 2000 miles and so forth. Boxes.
I hope you enjoyed Perchance to Dream! Thanks for reading! This is the final chapter, so I would really appreciate any comments or thoughts you have. Who was your favorite character? What did you want to know more about? Are you a Gremmy cheerleader?

Having just finished I want to say well done. I think you crafted a honest and lovely story. I enjoyed the concept of the dream world and its system of using concepts as a magic was a clever idea. The characters were all likable and charming (although I found Monty’s attitude a bit overbearing at the beginning) I hope you consider a long form story again sometime in the future, even if it isn’t a sequel to this story.
Thank you! It's so nice to hear from someone that got all the way through, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Who was your favorite character? What did you like most?
I do hope to write more of these! I have the general idea of the sequel bouncing around; it's not a direct sequel and features exactly one of the characters from this book, but it continues in much the same universe.

I rather enjoyed Cora for here quirky attitude and how her arc was essentially a non-arc where she simply affirms to herself that she’s fine the way she is because there are people who appreciate her and her work. I also just really liked the concept of the dream world because it allows for some creative situations and the way they have to become a dream self upon entering was a interesting idea.
