EW! Look at that ugly advertising on this piece. Gross! Trust me, I wish I didn't have to do this. Maybe one day I'll have enough patrons (hint hint) that I won't need to remind everyone I sell products.

Bryanna turned her back on the rising sun. She nuzzled her brother’s side, but the corpse was already too stiff to shift its position into a more natural one. Anyone looking would know he was gone the instant he was found.
She walked away, climbing the hillside once more. Her legs were shaky but she braced herself with her claws. When she reached the top, she did not look back. There was nothing for her there. She did not belong without Rama. She would not rest until she knew the kittens he had loved were safe. If he had sacrificed himself, it would not be in vain.
This had to end. There could be no more loss, no more pain, from the single innocent choice of a child. Innocence protected no one.
Again, the breeze brushed her fur, and she had to remind herself that there was no way to touch between the living and the dead. The child was gone. "Your brothers killed mine…" Her eyes burned. Rama was gone. "So I’ll kill yours." It took everything she had to keep putting one paw before the other. Her body shook. Her heart ached. In her mind, she saw the child’s smiling face. "Forgive me."
