It had been two weeks since the earth had come back together, and zarhae was still in pain. The curse hadn’t spread any more, but it was still there. He truly wanted to be rid of it, but he just couldn’t figure out how. He had looked through the entirety of A Wolven Guide to the Arcane, but had found nothing he could currently do. He had tried to keep a normal day, but it was impossible with the random spasms from the pain. He thought of all of this, a nagging feeling of missing something, as he tried to sleep. And finally, he was able to sleep.
Zarhae woke up in the middle of the night. He tried to go back to sleep, but couldn’t. He went outside, and looked at the moon. It was full tonight, and he felt that nagging again. He sat like that for hours, watching the moon. The occasional spasm of pain interrupted his mind every so often, but he was happy. Then, as he felt that the sun should be rising, his senses exploded, and he realised what he had forgotten. He smiled. It looked like he would be able to do something. He got up. The black sun was rising, and zarhae would need to visit an old friend.
