Hive pop out from every available nook, cranny, and crater around me

They open fire on me, but swift as a dancing flame, i dive behind a rock

They close in around me, certain of an easy kill, imagining the honor my death will bring upon them and how it shall be in honor of their foul gods

But they're blinded by a radiant light

The light of the Traveler, and its chosen who wield its gift as a weapon

The furious light of a burning star

They're still blind as my razor sharp feathers sing through the air before exploding around them in a massive conflagration

They barely have time to wail out in pain as they're engulfed by the funeral pyre, their screams dying in their throats along with them

Ashes to Ashes and all that.

I should probably get back to Eris after that, that's way too close for most Hive to get...

I summon my Sparrow and zoom off, the scent of charred chitin and ash still lingering on me as I rush across the dead surface of the Moon.
